I've met Rosemary and John senior in 1991 the first time , when I visited them with John jun. in 1991. It was a lovely visit, with a great welcome. I'll never forget. Sabine (from Germany).

So many happy memories of you Jean. How I miss our phone conversations, the shared laughs and love, our private Chiz jokes. You could light up Bob’s face like no one else ever could. How he misses you. I remember so many good times- Arran, Hadleigh and Huddersfield - and shared sad times too. Too many early losses. Your lovely face, your humour, your infectious laugh, your quiet steadfast faith will be ever held fast in your Yorkshire family’s hearts. May you rest in eternal peace, together again with Iain, John and all those loved ones who travelled home before you. Carol, Bob and all the family up North.

Our dear Auntie Jean, forever in our hearts, with treasured memories of you keeping Alice, Lucy and Emily occupied when they were afraid of Bob and Uncle Iain's crazy firework displays to such happy holidays when I was a young girl staying with you at the Guildhall and on our extended family holiday with Grandma Chisholm to Arran. A true lady and your sense of mischief, humour and genuine kindness to all will be sorely missed. Lorna x
